Purple Flag Memorial Displays:
Remembering Our Unhoused Neighbors
Every year, hundreds of people experiencing homelessness die in Orange County, many without a permanent place to call home. Housing Is A Human Right Orange County (HHROC) invites you to join our Purple Flag Memorial Displays and Hunger & Homelessness Awareness activities, held from early November through December 21, National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day.
Help us honor their lives and raise awareness. Volunteer your business, organization, faith community, school, or other suitable venue to host a display of purple flags and memorial signage, provided by HHROC.
Each display serves as a visible reminder that every life matters and that everyone deserves a safe, permanent home.
Participate by completing the registration form using the QR code on our brochure. Together, we can remember our unhoused neighbors, educate our communities, and inspire action to end homelessness in Orange County.
Visit www.hhroc.org or email purpleflags@hhroc.org for more information.
Every flag represents a life. Every display sends a message of compassion, remembrance, and hope.
