Gotham Burger Social Club

The Gotham Burger Social Club gained widespread popularity through its Pop-Up's during the pandemic. What started out for Mike Puma as a hobby, reviewing and making burgers, had turned into the most successful and popular pop-up NYC had ever seen! After 3 years of serving a community, helping bars, restaurants and leading the smash burger craze, the Gotham Burger Social Club is now a world wide destination and one of NYC's most successful restaurants located at 131 Essex St. in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Bánh by Lauren

Meet Lauren Tran. Her pop-up bakery, Bánh by Lauren, started as an Instagram account in 2020 when the pandemic shut down restaurants like Gramercy Tavern, where she worked under the pastry chef Miro Uskokovic. During the pandemic, she sold weekly “bánh boxes” that featured Southeast Asian flavors in the form of classic French pastries and desserts.

Now, she organizes pop-ups at different locations throughout the city, featuring flavors like Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk, as well as her signature pandan coconut chiffon cake. They attract scores of people willing to show up early and wait in long lines for a chance to try her creations. Follow along to see how Lauren and her husband, Garland Wong, make it happen.

Its iconic collections are revealed in a new, deliciously monochrome palette: from shades of brown to creamy beige, with boxes designed as precious cases and formats to suit every taste.
