Celebrating Our Clients and Their Dedication
At Gulf Coast Social Services, we’re proud to support clients like Anthony Ernest and Brenda Cormier, who receive vital services through our Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program. Both Anthony and Brenda, along with their support coordinators from Cadence of Acadiana and Medical Resources, were recently shown appreciation with GCSS goodie bags and delicious treats from TWINS Sweets.
Anthony, a dedicated grocery store attendant, and Brenda, a retired ARC of Acadiana employee, have been receiving services from GCSS for over 20 years, helping them maintain independence and safety in their homes and communities. We are grateful for their continued trust in GCSS as their provider and are honored to support their journeys toward living independently with assistance.

Employee Spotlight: Natisha Brown – Direct Service Worker (Lafayette Region)
We are excited to shine the spotlight on Natisha Brown, a dedicated Direct Service Worker who is celebrating her 19th year with Gulf Coast Social Services (GCSS). Natisha’s journey with GCSS was inspired by her own family’s involvement in the services, and she has since made a lasting impact in the lives of those she supports.
Over the years, Natisha has worked closely with one client for 17 years, providing unwavering support and care. With the help of her own family, she has created a nurturing environment that empowers her client.
Delana Clay, Program Director, reflected on Natisha’s long-standing commitment to her role as an employee. With over 10 years at GCSS herself, Delana recognizes the dedication, compassion, and personal investment that Natisha brings to her work every day.
We are grateful for Natisha’s exceptional service, loyalty, and the positive impact she has made on both the clients she supports and the GCSS family. Congratulations on your incredible 19-year journey, Natisha!

A Heartfelt Thank You to Dottie LeBlanc for Her Generosity
At Gulf Coast Social Services, we are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by our employees and supporters. Today, we want to give a special thank you to Dottie LeBlanc, a dedicated member of our GCSS Waiver Team, for her thoughtful donation of winter coats to our Lafayette Short-Term Respite Youth Program, which is run by Jessica Prince, GCSS Youth Administrator.
This program serves over 35 youth in need of essential items like coats, clothing, and other necessities. As our youth grow quickly, the need for donations is ever-present. Your generosity helps us meet these needs and ensure that these young individuals have what they require to stay warm and thrive.
We are deeply thankful for Dottie’s donation and for the continued support from all those who contribute to our mission. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve. We are grateful for any donations that help support our programs and the youth in our community.
Thank you for helping us make a positive impact!
