Legislative Housing Task Force Report
Earlier this year, the Indiana General Assembly formed a Housing Task Force to examine the state's housing crisis and propose legislative recommendations to address it.
Among the recommendations are state funding for housing infrastructure, tax incentives for home ownership, funding for financial literacy efforts, and incentivizing local governments to change zoning codes to allow for greater housing density. We expect to see some of these recommendations incorporated into legislation during the 2023 IGA session.

In November, a kiosk was installed at the downtown Monroe County Public Library, 303 E. Kirkwood Ave. Patrons are able to use the kiosk whenever the library is open.
