In partnership with Zoar Outdoor and the Massachusetts Office of Outdoor Recreation (MOOR), we have a special rafting event coming up on April 27th:

Rafting the Neighborhoods!

LP&CT strives to create community through conservation and MOOR aims to make Massachusetts one of the most inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible places for outdoor recreation.

Our shared goal is to introduce rafting to qualifying Lowell residents* so they can embrace adventure, enjoy the beauty of our local waterways, and connect with our community -- at no cost!

Rafting Trips at 9 AM and 1 PM

Concord River Greenway Park

Participants will:

• learn the basics of river navigation
• learn whitewater river rafting paddling techniques
• enjoy a day paddling down the Concord River on rafts
• enjoy an included lunch before or after their guided trip

No experience or equipment is necessary to participate!

*Scholarships will be provided with application for qualifying Lowell residents.
