1.)   November Monthly Early Learning Virtual Professional Development: Strategies for Supporting Problem Solving in the Early Learning Classroom

Each month this school year we will be offering a free virtual Professional Development opportunity for all Early Learning staff. Our November monthly virtual training will be “Strategies for Supporting Problem Solving in the Early Learning Classroom.” It will be presented by our friends at the Haring Center as they continue their fall workshops with us and will take place virtually on Tuesday, November 19^th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Upon completion participants in Licensed Programs will receive 2 STARS hours and CLOCK hours for those that need them will also be available.

This week the article is a magazine resource. NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) has a seasonal magazine that publishes online called Teaching Young Children. Each Issue has it’s own theme and you can see the Current Issue and Past Issues by clicking on the link below:

4.)   Licensed ONLY: Licensing WAC of the Week –  First Aid Supplies

This week’s featured Licensed WAC is “First Aid Supplies”. The WAC provides a checklist of all items that need to be included in your first aid kits. I highlight this now because it seems that licensors are keying into taking an inventory on these supplies during their visits this year.
