Marty Noble: Brooklyn Born, Bred, and Educated -
Senior Executive - Business and Professional Banking
From his early roots in East New York to Canarsie, where he attended Canarsie High School, to Long Island University, where he received BS and MBA degrees, Marty Noble's formative years have been shaped by his Brooklyn background. Adding to that, Marty met his future wife, Shelly, while living on the same street in Canarsie. They have been married for 55 years, and have two children and 4 grandchildren on LI.
Marty and Shelly, a retired interior designer, moved to Weston 27 years ago, in connection with Marty's taking a management position with Patriot National Bank in Stamford.
Marty's career as a commercial banker, risk manager, and loan officer has also been grounded in serving the business needs of local communities in New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and Connecticut. He retired as the President, Chief Lending Officer, and Director of a bank in Flushing. He is proud of the many exciting things he accomplished during 50 years as a commercial banker.
Unfortunately, Marty retired in March 2020, the fateful month when the pandemic upset so many lives and plans. Marty, however, rebounded and became a part-time remote Loan Review Consultant, a position he has held since August 2020.
Marty appreciates the warm reception he has received since joining the Y's Men and looks forward to becoming more involved, attending events, and furthering relationships as his work schedule permits. In particular, he'd like to get back into golf, and thinks the Y's Men may provide that opportunity.
