Welcome to the 25-26 School Year!

The 2025–2026 school year is officially underway at Lift For Life Academy, and our buildings are already buzzing with energy. After celebrating our historic 25th year, we are stepping boldly into the next chapter, continuing to Educate, Empower, and Uplift our scholars each day.

Deputy Director Dr. Katrice Noble shared in her welcome message, “Lift For Life has always been more than a school. It is a place where students are empowered to learn, grow, and discover their passion and purpose. The work we do is about preparing students for life, not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and professionally.” A key part of that mission is the SOAR program, which provides high school students with real-world experiences through internships, mentorship, and career exploration. This year, the program is expanding to middle school, with even more opportunities for exploration at the elementary level. Innovation combined with academic rigor continues to shape an environment where students feel safe, welcomed, and ready to thrive.

That sense of enthusiasm and possibility has been clear from the very first day of school. At the elementary level, Principal Danielle Price said: “The start of our school year has been full of spark, excitement, and curiosity. It’s been wonderful to see our students settling into routines, building friendships, and diving into learning. Our staff is working hard to make each day engaging and safe, and we are so proud of the strong start we’ve had together as a school community.” Fourth grader Haylee B. agreed, saying, “I love my friends and my teacher. I’m so excited to be in one of the new classrooms, especially for math since it’s my favorite subject.”

Middle school Principal Tierra Jackson echoed that momentum, sharing: “School is in full swing! Teachers are buzzing with creativity, students are laughing and learning together, and projects and field trips are already taking off.”

The same spirit has carried into the high school, where Principal Valeska Hill reflected: “We are off to an amazing start at high school. We had Annie Malone staff here on our first day to greet our scholars when they got off the buses. Teachers are building relationships with their students and are already creating engaging lessons and labs in each classroom. Literacy Is Our Leverage and we will focus on reading each day.”

From the excitement of younger students settling into routines and forming friendships, to high school scholars embracing new opportunities and academic challenges, Lift For Life Academy has entered this school year with confidence, curiosity, and determination. Together with our dedicated staff and supportive community, we are continuing to build a school where every student can discover their purpose and passion.
