NRG Meeting attendees in-person at Philadelphia and livestreaming virtually won't want to miss our NRG Scientific Session that includes several major presentations. This session will be held tomorrow, Friday, July 21st from 3:00-4:30pm ET in Salon CDE on the 5th floor for in-person attendees OR livestreaming from our Attendee Hub for virtual attendees.

NRG Awards Gold Medal to Dr. Walter J. Curran, Jr.

NRG will be presenting our first ever Gold Medal to Walter J. Curran, Jr., MD, FACR, FASCO, a founding Group Chair of NRG Oncology! The NRG Oncology Gold Medal was established this year in recognition of the 10th Anniversary of the formation of the group.

NRG Scientific Session Informational & Research Presentations

In addition to the Gold Medal award ceremony, NRG's Scientific Session will also include an overview of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Clinical Trials Innovation Unit (CTIU) led by NCI CTIU Co-Directors, Dr. Michael Morris and Dr. Sheila Prindiville. NRG Gynecologic Cancer Committee Chair, Dr. Carol Aghajanian, will also discuss the NCI Streamlining Clinical Trials Implementation Committee.

Dr. Ramez Eskander will discuss the NRG-GY018 trial results that were recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine and presented at the 2023 Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Annual Meeting on Women's Cancer and Dr. Julia White will present on the NRG-RTOG 1005 results for patients with high-risk, early-stage breast cancer following lumpectomy.
