Edgecombe Community College's High Altitude Balloon Team, critECCly stable, recently participated in the North Carolina Space Grant Community College High-Altitude Ballooning Competition in Hickory, NC. The competition required students to plan, design, program, wire, test, launch, and recover an engineered payload. This year's challenge introduced a CubeSat, a small enclosure with a sensor array and cameras measuring 4" x 4" x 4" and weighing less than 250 g (~0.5 lb).
