We though, are going to love—love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. God loved us first. (1 John 4:19 (MSG))

We have been created in the image and likeness of God. So like it or not, know it or not, we are all children of God. As a child of God we are infinitely and unconditionally loved by God. (If we are not taught this, we generally do not know it!) As we grow and awaken to God’s love for us, for God’s love in us, we are drawn closer and closer to God and invited to do what God wants most of us in return—to LOVE God in return!

To actually, genuinely, deeply, intimately fall in love with God. To share the gift of our very life (our time, our talent, our joys our sorrows, our money, assets, resources, our strengths and weaknesses, our successes and challenges, our bodies, minds and souls, our hopes and dreams, our EVERYTHING with God. We call it The Way of Jesus, who came to teach us how to be human and how to fall in love with God. Christian Stewardship isn’t a topic or a program. It’s a way of life, and we are invited to Choose it Now.

Our worship ministry team has been working side by side this year with our pastoral, music, and technology staff as we move into this new beginning of unified worship. We need and want your feedback. The Worship Ministry Team meets again on May 16, 2023, and we will, with our staff, review your rejoicings and your recommendations.

Worship as a community of faith brings all of us together, with hearts tuned and shaped from all we love and all we have experienced – our worship experience is vitally important to each of us. We gather to praise God, to seek forgiveness, to love, to remember, to be renewed, and to be transformed to go forth into the world.

3. Contacting a member of our worship committee.

Stewardship Campaign, Time, Talents, Treasures – Moving Forward Broadway

Through your pledges, donations and prayers. $391,325.14 has been pledged so far by 86 giving units as of April 27, 2023! The ministries of Broadway Christian Church will benefit many and are made possible by your Generous Hearts. If you intend to make a pledge or donation and haven't done so yet, it's not too late! You can do so online using Realm, by mailing a pledge card, or by contacting Ingrid at the church office.

Broadway is grateful for the ways in which we partner in Moving Forward. Thank you for your generous response and support of the many ministries at Broadway Christian Church.

You are invited to join us immediately following Worship for a delicious meal to celebrate commitments to serve with Time, Talents, And Treasures. Enjoy pulled pork, hashbrown casserole, and more as we celebrate together! Please mark you calendars to attend this free event.
