ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING

We recently received a copy of a notification letter sent out by Thomas A. Miller of the County Real Estate Office advising the Board of Supervisors will be signing a lease on Dana Point Harbor at their June 23^rd meeting. Click here to read the letter:

We requested additional information from both Supervisor Foley and the County Real Estate office and were told by the Real Estate office that the documents were still being finalized, so they were not available for release. We received the notification at 7:22 a.m. this morning from the Real Estate office, advising us that the item had been added to the agenda. A quick cursory review shows that Section 11.9 of the lease HAS NOT been amended, so slip rate pricing was not addressed by the County. Draw your own conclusions. Have the boaters, once again, been sold out by the County?

CA Coastal Commission Update

The CA Coastal Commission did approve, Agenda Item 14a, with conditions, the amendment to the Coastal Development Permit. For information on what was approved, please review the documents on the Coastal Commission website at https://www.coastal.ca.gov/meetings/agenda/#/2026/6.
