Supper Clubs 2025-2026
Sign-Ups Are Now Live!
Montview Supper Club registrations are now open! Clubs of 8 to 10 people meet monthly from October to April and each club’s captain helps coordinate meetings around members’ schedules. Rev. Loaves & Fishes Food Drive
September 14-September 28 (Commons)
Montview, in partnership with Metro Caring and Greater Park Hill Food Pantry, is hosting a Loaves & Fishes food drive from September 14-September 28 to keep their pantries their pantries stocked with nutritious items. You can help by donating some of the food items listed HERE.

What Does Happiness Mean for People of Faith?

September 14: "The Quest for Happiness in Contemporary American Life" with Dr. Albert Hernández
Dr. Albert Hernández from the Iliff School of Theology will present on the origins and contemporary relevance of questions about meaning and purpose in human life.
September 21: "Happiness is an Inside Job" with Leah Pearlman
Leah Pearlman will explore how a sense of distance from our wholeness is actually the source of internal suffering. Happiness isn't a becoming: it's a remembering. Leah has worked for Facebook, where she most famously helped create the Like button, and is the co-founder of the Welcoming Way.
September 28: "Living a Life That Means Something" with Rev. Peter Marty
Rev. Marty will explore we can size up our happiness pursuits in light of the Christian journey and our individual faith lives. Peter is the editor and publisher of The Christian Century magazine.

Spirituality and Aging - Online Offering

With the move into the fall season at Montview, there will be a turnover in the Montview Library. Jean Sibley will be taking over as head librarian from Cathy Fanning. Jean is a long-time member of the church and of the choir. She is perhaps best known for her 30+ years producing the fall musicals for Musique & Masque. We are offering a new Sunday children's bulletin beginning September 7, 2025. It includes questions about the sanctuary and the adult bulletin and requires attention to what is happening in worship. The inside page is for art making and taking notes. It is doable by all ages, though designed with elementary students in mind. We hope your family will enjoy these!
