OCTOBER 18, 2026

Tomorrow, we conclude our When Life Falls Apart sermon series as Rev. Colton Castle shares a message titled "When God Restores," based on Job 42:1–17. After several weeks exploring the story of Job and wrestling with life's hardest questions, we'll turn our attention to restoration, hope, and what comes after the storm.

We'll also hear an update from our Justice Team and celebrate Holy Communion together at both services.

And with Trunk-or-Treat & Chili Cook-Off just one week away, there's plenty of fall fun on the horizon! Read on for ways to get involved, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

HELP SPREAD THE WORD

Pick up a Trunk-or-Treat yard sign in the Narthex this Sunday and display it in your yard or around Lake Highlands to help invite our neighbors. Please return your sign after the event so we can reuse it next year!

JOIN A GROUP

Faith grows in community. Whether you’re looking for a Sunday morning class, a short-term study, or a supportive group for a particular season of life, there’s a place for you at LHUMC.

SUNDAY GROUPS

Sunday Groups meet at 9:30 a.m. and offer classes and community for all ages and stages of life.

FALL GROUPS

Our fall groups offer opportunities to grow in faith, find support, and connect with others.

CHILDCARE

We love having kids in worship! Children’s bulletins are available in the back of the Sanctuary to help keep kids engaged. If your child needs a break, the Spiritual Home Center is open as a “Wiggle Room” with toys and a livestream of the service.

Childcare for children ages 5 and younger is available during all Sunday morning activities in the Children’s Building.

CARE & SUPPORT AT LHUMC

You don’t have to carry life’s burdens alone. Our pastors and Care Team are here to pray, listen, and walk alongside you.

If you or someone in your life needs prayer, support, or a visit from our Care Team, we would love to connect with you. Please email Pastor Andy at andyr@lhumc.com.

TITHES & OFFERINGS

Our giving is one way we respond to God’s generosity. Through your tithes and offerings, you support ministry that reaches beyond our walls and into our community. Thank you for your faithfulness.

As we wrap up our When Life Falls Apart series, we're reminded of the hope we find in God's presence and in the community we share. We hope you'll join us tomorrow, whether in person or online, as we worship, connect, and look ahead to another wonderful week at LHUMC!
