Adult Forum
Spring Discovery Class starts This Sunday, February 6th during Adult Forum. The Program featured this Sunday is The Book Of Common Prayer.
Click the link below for a detailed Calendar of Programs.
A semester-long program for those seeking Confirmation, those already confirmed Episcopalians, and those interested in the Episcopal Church. The class will help us discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ in the Episcopal tradition.
Over the semester, we will have eight classes that will explore who we are, how and why we worship, how we pray, how to be a faithful steward of God’s gifts, and learn about two of the fundamental sacraments of the church-Baptism and Confirmation.
The program begins February 6, and will conclude on May 22nd with a visit from Bishop Andy Doyle, who will confirm, receive, and reaffirm those that desire it.
If you are interested in Confirmation, reception, or reaffirmation in the Episcopal Church, please contact Fr. Bryan, curate@standrewsbcs.org.

A Note from Parish Member Jennifer Lilleker
Hello, fellow St. Andrew’s Middlers class’s parents!
I’m Vivien, Courtney, and Marshall’s mom, Jennifer Lilleker and I am going to be hosting a special Lenten Unit for the Middlers Group (kids aged 8-12) for Sunday school on Sunday mornings at 10 am. My hope is to engage and encourage this age group during this special time and beyond. We would love it if your kids would join us! You can make it your Lenten practice! We will be using a new and exciting curriculum that includes a magazine for each student. I have ordered “Zines” and gel pens for everyone!
We will kick it all off with a party on Saturday, February 26th, 4-7 pm upstairs in the parish hall. My hope is to get all the kids to get to know each other better in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. No school work involved!! I am encouraging them all to invite a friend from school or somewhere else to join them so everyone feels comfortable. We will start with an icebreaker exercise to get to know each other better and then be having pizza and snacks for a meal. We will decorate some cakes for the youth cake auction and just relax, play games and have fun with each other.
On Sunday, Feb 27th we will begin our Lenten Unit! It’s all about the parables Jesus told and the fact that he was a great storyteller who related to people on a personal level. We will be telling these parables in an engaging way that relates to the kids' lives today! We will have some acting, some personal reflections, and prayer time using an emotions wheel (like a color wheel!) and some journaling as well as an art component with the Zine they are using.
So please come, send your child, try and stick with us for the six weeks of Lent, and hopefully, it will be so fun you will want to continue on into the Easter Season. (sneak peek: The Easter Unit will include a small play acted out by the kids with props and backgrounds and costumes made by the kids!!)
If you want to know more, please contact me, Jennifer, at 979-218-4083 (text is fine). Feel free to join me at the party and get to know me better while the kids play!
