Thanksgiving is almost here. This is the time of year to remember and embrace those who enrich our lives and everything we are thankful for. We are most definitely grateful for all of you who love Coconut Grove as much as we do! We are also thankful for our vibrant local, business community which works hard year-round to make our neighborhood so special.

Plan ahead and get your favorite desserts just in time for Thanksgiving! Pick up a pie at Fireman Derek's right on Main Highway. Choose from their delectable offerings including their classic pecan pie, apple pie, and pumpkin pie, or if you're a little less traditional try their pumpkin cheese cake, Nutella pie, or their coconut guava rum cake. No matter what your flavor, everyone will love what you choose!

The Key Club is featuring their “Thanksgiving at Home” dinner that feeds 4 to 6 people, but the last day to pick up all the food is Wednesday, November 23rd. For $275, everyone can dig into a half herb-roasted heritage turkey that is already carved, with a side of butternut squash soup, quinoa and baby kale salad, sourdough stuffing, Yukon gold potato puree, green beans almondine, cranberry chutney (yum!) and classic gravy. And you’ll get to pick one pie, either pumpkin, apple or pecan.
