Greetings!

Over the past few months, I have been exploring a question that has stayed with me throughout my clinical work:

What are people really searching for?

As I looked beyond compulsive pornography use, I found myself returning to the same themes: emotional regulation, shame, loneliness, attachment, and our universal need for connection.

My newest article, Beyond Pornography: What Are People Really Searching For?, brings this series to a close and opens the door to a broader conversation about human sexuality, relationships, and what it means to be fully human.

I invite you to read this month's reflection and join me as we continue exploring these important conversations together.

Warmly,

Beyond Pornography:

What Are People Really Searching For?

After 25 years of listening to people's most private struggles, I've come to a conclusion that surprised even me.

Pornography has never been the real story. In the final piece of this series, I share what I now believe compulsive pornography use is actually about, and why the answer says more about our shared human need for connection than it does about sex.

I also open up a question I can't stop thinking about: as AI grows more capable of simulating empathy and connection, what happens to our very human longing to be truly known?

Co-Dependent… No More!!!

There comes a point when constantly putting others first begins to feel less like love and more like losing yourself. This group is a space to gently shift that pattern.

Together, we focus on helping you reconnect with yourself, your voice, your boundaries, and your body. Female sexuality is not just about desire; it is about feeling safe, valued, and free to express what you truly want.

What We Cover:

  • Co-dependency
  • Self-esteem
  • Sexual difficulties
  • Assertiveness
  • Sexuality
  • Healthy relationships
  • Authenticity

This is not about becoming less caring. It is about becoming more connected to yourself.
