Greetings!

The Wisconsin Marine Association (WMA) is excited to announce that that Carrie Reid, CMM as the newestt Board Member of the Wisconsin Marine Association!

Carrie Reid is the General Manager of Reefpoint Marina in Racine, WI, where she is currently in her 14th season of leadership. Carrie is also a founding member of the marina division of F3 Marina, helping establish the foundation of the organization’s marina management platform. Professionally managed by F3 Marina and owned by Racine County, Reefpoint Marina is the largest marina in Wisconsin with nearly 1,000 slips and is currently undergoing a multi-year revitalization that includes a full dock system replacement and conversion from a chain anchoring system to a modern piling system.

Carrie brings more than 20 years of experience in property management, hospitality, marketing, and customer service, with the past 14 years focused on marina management. Under her leadership, Reefpoint Marina has evolved into a full-service, resort-style destination on Lake Michigan. The marina features a large ship store with boat-side delivery service, 24/7 docking assistance, a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, fuel dock, lounge spaces, and an on-site restaurant and bar. Carrie leads a year-round management team that includes two full-time managers and oversees more than 30 seasonal team members, all focused on delivering an exceptional experience for boaters and visitors alike.

A key focus of Carrie’s leadership is fostering community and camaraderie among boaters. Through strong marketing initiatives, creative event programming, and consistent engagement with boaters and the broader community, Reefpoint hosts engaging events nearly every weekend during the boating season. From themed gatherings and on-water adventures to the annual “Winter Bash” for Reefpoint Marina slipholders in Florida, Carrie believes memorable experiences are central to building loyalty and a thriving marina culture.

Carrie is also deeply involved in the Racine community. She has served as a board member for Downtown Racine for the past two years and is an active member of the Downtown Racine Engagement Committee, working alongside other community leaders to strengthen connections between the marina, downtown businesses, and the broader Racine community. Additionally, Carrie has been part of the Wisconsin Clean Marina Technical Team for the past three years, supporting efforts that promote environmental stewardship and best practices within Wisconsin’s marina industry.

Carrie’s love for boating and the water began early. She has been boating since her teenage years and spent much of her childhood fishing alongside her father from the fishing piers in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The water has always been a defining part of her life.

Carrie looks forward to bringing her experience in marina operations, marketing, event programming, customer service, retail ship store management, and community engagement to the Wisconsin Marine Association Board, while advocating for the continued growth, sustainability, and success of Wisconsin’s boating and marina industry.
