ALWAYS....REACHING HIGHER
From the Superintendent...
Greetings!

Happy Second Sunday of Advent to you all,

Today, some general nuts and bolts:

  • We have rescheduled the Archbishop/Pastor/Principal meetings for 1.5-2 hours at various dates and times in January and February via Zoom. The small group meetings (limited to 20 schools each meeting) will offer the Archbishop an opportunity to speak to us all about his vision and the importance of Catholic elementary and high schools as ministries of the parish and Archdiocese. We will also offer our school data to you and the pastors. More to come this week on the agenda and specific dates and times. We will also send a separate note to the pastors with schools, and help them understand the importance of their presence. You will have the opportunity to register for the date that works best for both you and your pastors.
  • Tuesday, December 7, the 11:00 meet-up will be canceled and we encourage the principals to attend the following SPECIAL EVENT from 10:00-11:00 a.m. – The Demographic Reality Facing our Church and our Schools: The Call to Make Catholic Education More Inviting to Latino Families offered by the Notre Dame Team. Your development directors have been invited to attend as well.
  • We have canceled the 7:30 a.m. meeting for principals due to the low (1-2) attendance.
  • We will continue to record our Tuesday, Thursday sessions and post them on the Trello Board

You remain in our prayers of gratitude,

Kristin and the OCS team
