Jones High School Community Brief

| | |
Dear Jones Community Member,
This is our final Tiger's Roar! edition for the 2024-2025 third quarter which ended this past Thursday. Our Tigers and staff are away this week on spring break with classes resuming next Monday, March 24. We enjoyed a successful third quarter and wanted the community to see a few highlights from the period leading up to spring break. I encourage all of our Tigers to relax and recharge over spring break as we anticipate another very productive, but busy nine weeks.
Have a wonderful week, Tigers!
Mr. Norwood
Principal

Jones Economics teacher, Ms. Birgenheier (pictured with Principal Norwood and Assistant Principal Corn), is one of those teachers within the school district earning this special recognition. This is because Ms. Birgenheier consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to student success and is a valuable asset to our school. 2) Classroom Spotlight ahead of spring break - IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition
In the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, students explore the nature of knowledge and how we come to know what we believe to be true. A key part of this journey is the TOK Exhibition, completed during junior year (pictures below). For the Exhibition, students choose three personal objects that connect to a Knowledge Question, demonstrating how TOK applies to their everyday lives.
