ByAnnie Annual Local Quilt Shop Contest

Every year, ByAnnie (ByAnnie.com) holds a contest to determine the number of people who will vote for their local quilt shop. The 2025 contest will run from January 25 to February 29, 2025.

The voting will begin on National Local Quilt Shop Day. 

Local Quilt Shop Day, also known as Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day, is held on the fourth Saturday in January every year to celebrate local quilt shops and their contribution to the world. The delightful holiday is an opportunity for quilters to give honor back to the independent quilt shops that bring them such joy.

Snow Days

Snow is starting to fall in the Golden Area, which means Jefferson County Schools may have snow days now and then. Remember:

Golden Quilt Company is closed when schools are closed!

Services:

Long Arm Quilting Service. Bring your quilt top, back, and batting to the shop by Wednesday at 4 PM, and let the Golden Gals help you choose the quilting design and thread color. For more details click HERE.

Sewing Machine Service: Drop off your machine by Thursday at 4:00 PM. Turnaround time is 1 to 2 weeks. The bench fee is $89. There is an additional cost if your machine needs parts.
