STAFF SPEAKING
Here is a note from the Projects & Executive Coordinator, Felicia Magee:
"Over the last month our Chamber team has been contacting the 2016 Business Excellence Awards nominees. This is such an exciting time, not only for us here at the Chamber but, for all those businesses who have finalized their nominations. We'll be adding the complete list of nominees to our website next week for everyone to see! I anticipate we'll
see some very active social media accounts filled with announcements and congratulatory notes!
Don't forget that you can support your favourite nominated businesses at our annual BEA Nominee Luncheon in September!"

TO CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROVIDERS, STAKEHOLDERS, HIGHWAY 97 USERS
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be replacing the Salmon River/John Hart Bridge on Highway 97, 26 km. north of Prince George. As part of that replacement, there may be a potential of a short term closure of Highway 97 (approximately 10 hours) in late October or early November 2016, to facilitate the construction.
If the closure will have significant effects on your operation, please respond to the email below:
