Drive Safely Yard Signs Available for Parents and Residents

To help improve the safety of children walking and rolling to and from school, the Los Altos Safe Routes to School program created drive safely yard signs. Parents and residents can pick up free yard signs at City Hall, the Los Altos Community Center, or Los Altos Library during open hours.

Los Altos City Council Meetings Return to Council Chambers

Beginning Tuesday, January 10, Council meetings will take place in the Council Chambers located at City Hall, while continuing to be available virtually. This Tuesday's agenda is also available; listed in the agenda are all the items to be discussed during the meeting. 

Woodland Library Introduces New Service

The Woodland Library recently introduced Open Access, which now provides patrons exclusive, self-service access—before regular open hours—to pick up holds, browse the collection, borrow library materials, relax and read, or use the WiFi, computers, printers and copy machines. Residents can visit the Library's account desk during open hours to fill out a registration form.

Youth Commission Calls for Teen Artists

Does your teen have a talent they would like to showcase? The Los Altos Youth Commission invites teens to participate in its Teen Talent Showcase on Friday, January 27 from 6-8 PM at the Los Altos Community Center Grand Oak Room. Teens have the opportunity to socialize with their peers, enjoy food, and watch talented performers for free.
