August/September 2026 | Strengthening Pastors and Churches in Costa Rica

Thanks to our amazing donors, not only were we able to purchase a new 2027 Hyundai Staria for the ministry, but we were also able to gift our old vehicle to an awesome church in Grecia, Costa Rica. We had originally planned on selling the old vehicle, but because so many of you gave, we realized that we were blessed to be a blessing. We gave because you gave!

The day after we picked up the new van, we had the old van detailed. And the following day the new owners picked it up and we signed the papers.

Thank you again for your generosity. And we look forward to using this van to be a blessing to many others over the coming years.

Another blessing that took place this month was the continuation of work at Pastor Nelson's church in Parrita. As we reported before, earlier this year a team from Matrix Ministries came down to pour a massive floor for the new church building. And just last month, they provided more funds for the work to continue even though they could not come down again. We love our friends at Matrix and are always grateful for their generosity with the churches of Costa Rica.

Worship Leaders Gather
At the end of August we had 43 worship leaders and musicians from three churches gather at The Brook Training Center for a full-day seminar. Steve was one of the speakers, and Angela catered the event as usual. It was a blessing to serve these church leaders.

Templo Bautista Women's Event

The ladies from Templo Bautista in Atenas gathered for an evening banquet at The Brook. Angela provided a wonderful meal for the 46 grateful ladies who were present.

We love to bless our local churches whenever possible, and these ladies were a delight to serve.

Multi-Church Men's Conference

Steve was the keynote speaker for a two day men's conference at Horizon Church which had men from six different churches in attendance. A total of 150 men gathered for the first "Real Life" men's event. A special thank you goes out to Pastors Daniel and Todd for inviting us to be part of this amazing event.

The water hyacinths in our fountain are enjoying the cloud cover that comes during the rainy season, even though we haven't had much rain.

Want to help?

There are two very real ways to partner with our ministry.

Pray. It really makes a difference. We see God answer prayers all the time. Take a few minutes to pray through the prayer list included in this email, and you will do great good for us and for God's Kingdom.
Give. Consider giving to support Steve and Angela monthly, or toward any one of the special needs which have been identified.
