The following feedback was provided by a mother who was able to provide her child with a memorable first birthday thanks to Birthday Dreams.
"I got pregnant while I was homeless, and was homeless until the day she [her daughter] was born, and that is when we got into a family shelter...I wasn't really anticipating having a birthday...I was so happy we were able to actually celebrate her first birthday...I felt a ton of relief and happiness that my baby girl could have cake and presents on her 1st birthday and I will be forever grateful. I felt like a huge failure thinking we wouldn't be able to. She had the most amazing day. I think it was the happiest I've ever seen her."
The mother went on to express her gratitude for the beautiful Hello Kitty cake and Blues Clues gifts, thanking EVERYONE who made her daughter's birthday possible. That includes all of our Birthday Dreams supporters! So, thank YOU!
