THANK YOU for joining us at the Calamari Festival and Cook-Off!

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to celebrate the love of calamari at the 7th Annual Rhode Island Calamari Festival and Cook-Off! It was a fantastic day filled with community spirit, friendly competition, and, of course, amazing calamari.

Congratulations to Our Cook-Off Winner!

A huge round of applause to George’s of Galilee, who made history by sweeping all three categories for the first time, voted on by over 800 attendees! They took home the titles of Best Overall, Most Innovative, and Best Team Spirit—a remarkable achievement. Be sure to stop by George’s and try their award-winning calamari!

Greetings from Tower Hill Brewing Company!

We’re thrilled to be part of the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce! Here’s a quick overview of who we are and the exciting events we have planned for October.

About Us:

Tower Hill Brewing Co. opened in March 2024 and has already been named the best new brewery in Southern RI by Rhode Island Monthly. Located in The Village at South County Commons, we offer a variety of craft beers, hard seltzers, and a family-friendly atmosphere with a spacious taproom. We’re just steps from great restaurants, entertainment, and only a short drive to URI and the best beaches. Host your next party with us—we can accommodate up to 135 guests and offer outdoor patio space! We have -11 brews on tap, some in cans to-go! Latest release; OkTowerFest, Marzen Style brew, 6.1% abv. Rich, malty flavors with notes of toasted bread, caramel balanced by a mild hop bitterness. Smooth clean finish. New releases are happening weekly, so stay tuned!

Welcome New Chamber Member: ColleenArt, Ceramic Artist

We are excited to welcome Colleen, a gifted ceramic artist whose work is inspired by the beauty of nature, often with a touch of whimsy. Colleen is semi-retired and now fully devoted to her passion for creating heartfelt ceramics. She studied ceramics and architectural design at the Massachusetts College of Art and spent many years as a kitchen designer, while continuing to craft on the side.

Colleen now creates from her heart, drawing inspiration from the stunning seaside community she calls home. Her art captures the essence of her surroundings, blending creativity with nature in every piece.

Colleen sells her unique ceramics directly to customers and at the Chamber's Visitor's Center located at the Towers.

We’re delighted to have Colleen and her business, ColleenArt, join our Chamber community and look forward to seeing her artistry thrive!

Exciting News: Exquisite Skin Care Has a New Location in Narragansett!

We are thrilled to announce that Exquisite Skin Care has found a beautiful new home in Narragansett! The new location is quiet, spacious, and private, providing the perfect environment for all your skincare needs.

Be sure to visit them at 750 Boston Neck Road, upstairs in Unit 12 in the Bonnet Overlook professional plaza. With plenty of parking, a big backyard for some much-needed green space, and even a little ocean view, it's an ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate.

Art Market at the Fall Festival – Lavender Waves Farm

Join us for a fun-filled family day at the Fall Festival at Lavender Waves Farm! Don't miss your chance to shop from 15+ local Rhode Island artists curated by Local 401 Artists, along with plenty of exciting activities for all ages.

Enjoy delicious bites from East Landing RI food truck, pet giant camels, feed alpacas, and savor lavender lemonade, chocolate, and ice cream. Plus, take part in pumpkin carving, a scavenger hunt, and a craft table, with raffles and even the opportunity to propagate lavender plants to take home!

Low Tide Jewelry Co. at Oktoberfest in Wakefield!

We’re excited to announce that Low Tide Jewelry Co. will be set up at Oktoberfest on October 12th from 11 am–5 pm on Main Street, Wakefield. This family-friendly event is a local favorite, offering live music, delicious German food and beer, and the iconic River Fire. It’s the perfect way to kick off fall with a fun community vibe!

At our booth, you’ll find a stunning collection of Sterling Silver, brass, copper, gold-filled, and even a sneak peek of our new 14kt gold jewelry designs, featuring locally sourced treasures. Not into jewelry? We’ve got you covered with boho-style home goods and beach-inspired accessories like brass telescopes, port hole mirrors, cork bags, chimes, and more!

Happy Fall to Our Fans and Community!

Thank you for supporting the Ocean State Waves through a fantastic 2024 season! We celebrated 8 current and former players being drafted into the MLB, along with the MLB debuts of Nick Raposo and Ben Casparious. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming Waves Brew Tour fundraiser in December.
