2021 Manufacturing Week: "The Gut Behind the But" Safety Interjection Training (Overview)
Safety matters and everyone knows to ‘say something’ if they 'see something'. ‘But…’ People are emotional creatures who often know when they should act, but choose not to act due to a number of relational and psychological reasons. This training features interactive modules identifying the importance of safety, discovering the blockades to action, and establishing methods to train people for honest and worthwhile communication and action which improves leadership, ownership, and safety.
Outcomes: bolder communication, increased safety culture, enhanced respect

Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting: Barrels and Brews Bottle Shop
Please join us for a Grand Opening celebration and Ribbon Cutting for our new Chamber member Barrels & Brews Bottle Shop located in Chaffee Crossing's Entertainment District. This event will feature a ribbon cutting at 4 pm to kick off the Grand Opening celebration. Barrels & Brews will continue the event until 6 pm after the ribbon cutting for attendees that would like to try their party punch and appetizers (Must be 21 and older for alcoholic beverages service). Nestled beside Revel Restaurant and Bar in the Hub at Providence, attendees can try out the punch and walk in the Chaffee Crossing entertainment district area with their refreshments provided by Barrels and Brew Bottle Shop.
