We’re gathering for our October All-Branch Meeting on Wednesday, October 8 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET — and this one’s big. Together, we’ll launch our new national campaign and share strategies to grow and sustain our branches.
Peace is / Peace is Not Campaign
WILPF US is reclaiming what peace really means. This campaign challenges the Administration’s dangerous redefinition of peace as militarism and calls on us to act. Branches can take part through:
- A nationwide social media + poster campaign
- Local media outreach and ally mobilization
- Advocacy for a Department of Peacebuilding
- Large scale action: The Peace Crane Drop
You’ll hear how to bring this campaign to life in your branch with ready-to-use tools, scripts, and graphics.
Retention Strategies to Strengthen Our Branches
We’ll also dig into new approaches for keeping members connected and energized, including:
- Mini-Grants: funding available for all branches to plan new events
- Solidari-Tea Gatherings: low-pressure, welcoming events to spark reconnection among your members
- No Kings Mobilization (Oct 18): how to show up boldly with WILPF sashes and presence
- Getting listed with 50501 & Indivisible: simple registration steps to boost visibility and access resources
