Before I go any further, I do want to stress no hero is required to purchase any costuming or LARP weapons to participate in camp. We do require costuming (helps keep every hero immersed and is guaranteed to make them feel like part of the story from day 1) but heroic costumes can be anything they can imagine out of what they already own from an overly large shirt with a belt and bandana to look like a pirate or a simple kitchen apron over earth toned clothes to look like a blacksmith. We also provide all props and a loaner LARP weapon that any camper needs to play. There is no "pay to play" for any camper once they are registered.
With that being said, we are officially opening our LARP weapons and costuming ordering for any that want to add to their heroes armory. We have partnered with the LARP Box (the only brick and mortar LARP gear store in the US that we know of and it happens to be less than 10 miles from camp!). This is our first time working with them and hosting orders in this way so let's call it a Beta test and please communicate any questions or issues you find. The goal is to make ordering easier for everyone!
