Dear Camp Families,

Happy Spring! We are waiting for the snow to melt at camp so we can start some of our large projects like adding 2 more high elements to our already extensive ropes course. Returning campers will also notice some changes to The Village, The Grove and Maine Field. More details and photos will follow soon!

Thank you to all the parents who already submitted their required camper forms. The next time you login to your CampMinder account you will also see the 2019 Family Handbook . It is full of helpful reminders and resources to get you and your child ready for the upcoming camp season.

Both of us will be traveling between Philadelphia and Boston a few times over the next 6 weeks. We'll let you know if we are going to be in your area. If you live in New York, you should have received an email on Tuesday about an invitation to join us for lunch in Manhattan this Sunday. RSVP so we know you can join us. If you have friends or family interested in meeting us during our travels, call or email us in the office any time. And if you don't live on the East Coast, we can always plan a Skype call with anyone interested in learning about North Star.

There is now a wait list for several ages and genders for Session 2 (July 7 - 20). If you haven't enrolled yet, contact us right away to see if there is space left.

We are counting down the days until we see everyone back under the pines.

Private Tennis Lessons
Private tennis lessons are a popular option for campers who are looking to improve their skills or are new to the game. Our tennis coaches tailor the private lessons to each campers' skill level. The fee is $40 per lesson and you can choose the quantity.

To register, use the Additional Options form in your CampMinder account.
Bunk Request Form
The Bunk Request Form allows campers to choose 1 friend who they want to be in the same cabin with, if the friend also makes the same request.

We do our best to accommodate all requests who meet the following criteria:

• You are only making 1 request.
• The request is reciprocal.
• The campers are the same grade and/or age.
• The request is made by the deadline of May 15.

We will contact you if your request can not be met. Otherwise, your request is being honored.
Medical and Health Forms
Have you scheduled your child’s wellness visit appointment with your pediatrician or family physician? Health providers typically require a wellness visit to complete health and medical forms for camp, and busy medical offices fill quickly at this time of year. Please remember that all required medical forms are due by June 1st so our health center staff has ample time to review all the forms before campers arrive.
