Staying Connected to Our Community

Hello everyone,

Campaign season for the Gubernatorial Election is now in full swing, but it's not the election I'm running in! On Tuesday, November 3, you have the chance to vote for federal, state, and countywide offices. See a graphic below for key dates/deadlines and resources for this election. You'll see my name on the ballot for the Tuesday, April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election that features local elected offices.

Stay connected! Arlington Heights is a special community, and that is due in part to the services we receive from our local governments. See information below on how to sign up for the Village of Arlington Heights e-newsletter, a well as Wheeling Township's - both of which serve vital roles in maintaining and improving the quality of life we all enjoy. Plus, mark you calendar for this coming weekend - Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 for Harmony Fest and the Taste of Arlington Heights - more details are below!

I'm starting to schedule coffee or after hours "Meet and Greet" events so I can connect with as many residents as possible, to share why I'm running for Village Trustee. If you'd like to host one - or get involved with my campaign in another way, please reach out here through the contact form.

Enjoy the fall - and I hope to see you around town! Check out the photo gallery below to see all the events I was fortunate to participate in, or attend recently.

Public Services That Strengthen Our Quality of Life

Village of

Arlington Heights

The Village of Arlington Heights provides core services that maintain and strengthen our entire community. These include reviews of development plans to ensure they will benefit our community, management and maintenance of our water and sewer systems, roadways and other infrastructure - along with emergency response, and so much more. The Village regularly sends out an e-newsletter that keeps residents up to date on all that's happening, including upcoming community events. To sign up and have it delivered right to your inbox, click here.

Wheeling Township

Wheeling Township serves a very important role in supporting our community members, but many may not know exactly what the Township does - unless they find themselves in need. The Township is in part, the social service arm of local government. Our Township has a food pantry that serves hundreds of individuals and families each month, transportation services for seniors and the disabled, support for veterans and emergency assistance - along with other community support. You can sign up for their e-newsletter here to learn more, and to give back by being a donor or volunteering.

Events Around Town

Recent community events I attended, or participated in included the Village's memorial ceremony honoring the lives lost in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Battle of the Badges Memorial Softball Tournament benefiting local Police and Fire mental health charities, and the SLSF Birdies Besties Golf Classic that supports NWSRA, where I got to be a caddy. I also attended ribbon cutting ceremonies for new local businesses, Once Upon a Bagel and Heights Pediatric Therapy - and had the chance to call bingo at the senior center - which was definitely one of the highlights!
