Celebrate Solar Collector Rebate This Evening!

Dec. 3 | 6:30pm | Wheatley Room

WBUUC received a check from the IRS for $23,805.70 on October 28 for the solar addition installed in May 2024. Church treasurer Alan Wenker prepared and submitted the complicated, federal government rebate application in June, and the committee anxiously awaited the outcome.

All are invited to join the Climate Action Committee following supper this evening to celebrate the rebate and help make plans for future climate action activities at WBUUC.

North Star Youth Outreach Center Winter Clothing Drive

Nov. 23 - Dec. 21 | Social Hall

WBUUC has long been a strong supporter of the Center. In the past two years, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of youth needing help. Warm winter clothing is greatly needed - coats, hats, gloves and mittens, with a particular need for plus-size clothing. Leave donations in the cart in the Social Hall. Your generosity and continued support of the Center are deeply appreciated.
