Lift For Life Academy Girls Basketball are BACK TO BACK State Champions!

On Saturday March 22, Lift For Life Academy beat St. Teresa's of Kansas City in the Class 5 girls basketball state championship game at the Mizzou Arena with a score of 63-42 for their 3rd title win in five years.

With this win, LFLA is the first school to win three titles in three different classes over a five-year period.

On Sunday, April 27th, Lift For Life Academy will proudly celebrate 25 years of achievement and opportunity at its signature fundraising event. Under the dazzling lights of the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, 20 talented students will walk the runway at the annual Fashion Showcase and Luncheon — a tribute to creativity, craftsmanship, and the boundless talent nurtured within our school.



Join us for an unforgettable afternoon where artistry takes center stage, and the future of education and innovation at St. Louis’ oldest charter school unfolds before your eyes. Guided by their dedicated fashion teachers and accomplished LFLA alumni Antonia Jones (Class of '18) and Jazmyne Coleman (Class of '18), the students have poured their passion into every stitch and silhouette. With each garment, our student-designers tell a story, blending technique with vision to bring their unique designs to life on the runway.

But this milestone event is about more than fashion. LFLA’s student musicians will perform, creating a lively atmosphere as attendees explore a display of students’ artistic excellence across multiple disciplines. Woodworking students have meticulously crafted one-of-a-kind cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and other handmade treasures. Ceramics students have designed special 25th-anniversary vases to serve as stunning centerpieces for the luncheon, along with a variety of other unique handmade pieces. Photography students will present breathtaking stills from their adventures around St. Louis. All of these exceptional works will be available for purchase, allowing attendees to support and celebrate student creativity in a meaningful way.

In addition to showcasing the artistic triumphs of LFLA, the 1904coders will display their latest tech-driven projects, while the Chess Team challenges guests to a match against their strategic prowess, proving that creativity and intellect go hand in hand.

It stands as a testament to Lift For Life Academy’s transformative impact, shaping bright futures and leaving a lasting legacy of Educating, Empowering, and Uplifting every member of the LFLA family.
