Sowing Seeds of Healing for the New Year
Dear Friends,

A holiday season like no other is upon us. Thank you for sending us messages of love and concern during our past two weeks of lockdown; the brothers have recovered well, and there are no more further signs of Covid-19 in the monastery.

We hope you are keeping you and your loved ones safe at home so that we may all make it through this challenging moment together. To support you in this, the monks and nuns of Deer Park Monastery would like to welcome you to join our monastic family online to celebrate the holidays together.
We will offer Afternoons of Mindfulness on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, in addition to our usual Sunday Days of Mindfulness, which resume now after two weeks of lockdown.

Thay Phap Lac (Dharma Happiness) will offer the talk at 4pm on Christmas Eve on the practice of Noble Silence within ourselves—the place where we find our deep interconnectedness.

This Dharma talk will be offered in Vietnamese. To listen to the live translation in English, you will need to watch the talk on Zoom at the link below.

At 3pm on New Year's Eve, Thay Phap Luu (Brother Stream) invites us to look deeply at our relationships with one another in 2020 as we make our aspiration for the year to come. Are we really as separate as we think we are?

This Dharma talk will be offered in English. To listen to the live translation in Vietnamese, you will need to watch the talk on Zoom at the link below.

We hope you can join us to ring in the New Year with peace, joy, and community.

We know you are there and we are so happy!
