THE WEEKLY WOLF

🤝 BELONG | ⭐ ENGAGE | 🏆 SUCCEED

YOU BELONG HERE. AND WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE. 💙

The first week may have felt exciting, overwhelming, or somewhere in between—and that’s okay. By Week 2, you’re starting to figure out your classes, your schedule, and what college life really looks like.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Talk to your professor, connect with a classmate, visit a campus office, or meet with your Success Coach. Asking for help isn’t a sign that you don’t belong—it’s one of the ways you build your place in the college community.

  • Your goal this week: Connect with one person on campus who can help you feel a little more connected and supported.

WHAT IS LABOR DAY?

Labor Day is a federal holiday that honors the contributions and achievements of American workers. It’s also a chance to recognize the hard work that keeps our communities and workplaces moving forward.

SUNY Niagara is closed in observance of Labor Day, giving our students, faculty, and staff a well-deserved day to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We’ll see you back on campus when regular operations resume!

INVISIBLE DISABILITY AWARENESS 🧠🦻🧏‍♂️

Not all disabilities are visible. Many individuals live with conditions such as chronic pain, fatigue, learning differences, mental health disorders, hearing or vision impairments, and other challenges that may not be immediately apparent. Because disabilities can affect people in different ways, it's important to avoid making assumptions based on appearance alone.

At SUNY Niagara, we encourage our community to foster understanding, practice empathy, and listen to one another's experiences. By recognizing that not all disabilities can be seen, we help create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
