PACCAR PARTS celebrated the grand opening of its 260,000-square-foot parts distribution center in Louisville, Kentucky that increases parts availability for dealers and customers in the central, mid-Atlantic and southeastern regions of the United States. . . DANA INCORPORATED was named one of "America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2023" by Newsweek magazine. . . WABASH announced that it had signed a multiyear supply agreement with J.B. Hunt for the supply of 15,000 trailers. . . GEOTAB exhibited its connected vehicle data intelligence that can increase vehicle efficiency and value while driving meaningful and measurable programs to improve security, safety, and sustainability at the 2023 International CES event. . . BRUCKNER'S TRUCK & EQUIPMENT recently acquired Cabin Diesel of Big Cabin, Oklahoma. . . CONMET DIGITAL is partnering with Stephens Pneumatics on a line of tank trailers to provide fleet managers, drivers and dispatchers with real-time visibility of the vehicle, including component condition and asset location with a suite of solutions that monitor wheel ends, GPS location, tire pressure, line pressure and axle load. . . DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA is working with researchers at Oregon State University developing a zero-emissions heavy-duty truck capable of regional and long-haul freight deliveries as part of the SuperTruck 3 program. . . PACLEASE announced that it added 21 new sites in 2022 alone which brings the network up to 472 United States and Canadian locations. . . VOLVO GROUP VENTURE CAPITAL AB invested in Waabi Innovation Inc to develop the next generation of autonomous trucking technology.

NUMBERS

Although there is still a great degree of uncertainty about what 2023 will bring in trucking business conditions, FTR predicts that a major recession is unlikely. FULL STORY
