Dear Heart of the City Friends,
Besides hosting our concert series in the Music Factory, we also rent it out for business luncheons, business marketing meetings, business parties, weddings, receptions, anniversaries, birthday parties and other events! These extra events help us pay our bills and keep the doors open.
So, to all the local businesses out there and anyone else looking for a unique and intimate space for your next event: We want to invite you to rent the Music Factory for your next special event!
If you haven't yet seen it, the Music Factory is a Victorian-style venue with vintage wallpaper, a beautiful stage with a fireplace, elegant balcony, hardwood dance floor and an intimate seating capacity of 130 in theater style seating or 107 on tables and chairs that offers a unique and truly memorable experience.
Additionally, there is a lovely side room with tin ceilings and curtained archways that open up into the main room. And then, there is the back studio which typically serves as a place where drinks are served or as a quieter seating lounge.
For A/V and sound, we have four video cameras mounted on the balcony and side walls with video screens in the balcony, side room and studio. We also have a large 12’ by 20’ retractable screen above the stage with a projector that can project either video feed from the balcony or any kind of video or Powerpoint from a computer, and a high-end stereo sound system. We also have the capabilities to stream and or videotape an event!
And, we offer open catering - which means that you can choose who and what type of cuisine you'd like to bring in for your event!
