Thank you for attending the March 2025 CIE Partner Gathering!

We were pleased to welcome 45 attendees from various organizations across our community. During the meeting, we celebrated Women's History Month and Ramadan. We honored historical women figures such as Shirley Chisholm and Sonia Sotomayor, and our partners observing Ramadan shared their favorite meals for breaking fast.

In our CIE Partner Highlight segment, we enjoyed a fantastic presentation by Jessica Peter, our VP of External Affairs at 211 San Diego. She demonstrated the latest enhancements and search engine optimization features for the improved 211 Community Calendar of events.

Keila Gomez presented an overview of the CIE Active Users List within the CIE Partner Community. She highlighted the critical importance of maintaining an up-to-date user list, and the significance of using consistent naming conventions for a user's departments as it allows for more effective analysis of user utilization and adoption trends by department.

During the CIE Partner Spotlight segment, we expressed our gratitude to Operation Hope North County for the tour and visit to their impressive facility. We gained valuable insights into their programs and services, which offer safe shelter for families and individuals in need as well as empowers them to regain stability and work towards self-sufficiency.

Rox Suarez updated us on upcoming system changes that will affect the following layouts: Search Client, Create Client Process, and Privacy tab. These updates will provide a guided flow for creating a new client record, documenting authorizations, and renewing or revoking a client's authorization.

Joanna Oboza also shared an update on a new desk aid for referrals to the 211/CIE's CalAIM Navigation Program, which accepts referrals for all Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans, Enhanced Care Management populations, and Housing services. You can download the desk aid here.
