Check out the awesome short take-off and landing performance (from YouTube's Experimental Aircraft Channel) of the Zenith STOL from this past weekend's Lonestar STOL Competition and Fly-In held in Gainesville, Texas. Jon Humberd flew to the event in his custom-built Zenith STOL from Tennessee to demonstrate the incredible short take-off and landing capability of his "Super 701," showing how this affordable easy-to-build tricycle-gear Zenith competes with expensive purpose-built STOL showplanes (with 300+ hp; often trailered in to STOL events). Jon is also active sharing his love of aviation with his popular YouTube channel (and Facebook page), and continues to post amazing footage (some in 360-degrees) of his flying adventures.
What's in your garage?
While much of the country (and the world) has seemingly ground to a halt due to the coronavirus, now is a good time to stay in your garage or basement workshop to work on your kit airplane project (and do your part in limiting the amount of personal contact to avoid the spread of germs).
At the Zenith Aircraft kit factory we are doing what we can to keep our production facility and offices clean and sanitized so that we may continue to supply builders with the parts needed to build or maintain their aircraft, and currently we are open for factory visits. If you're in need of parts and kits for your project, contact us: we'll do everything we can to have parts shipped to you as soon as possible!
Need parts to keep building, or a new project to get started?
Contact us to order a rudder starter kit (or full tail kit) for ultimate "social distancing."

Zenith Aircraft's next workshop, on April 23 & 24, 2020, at the factory in Mexico, Missouri, is still on the schedule. Registered participants can reschedule (or request a refund) should the workshop be cancelled.
As many of you have already heard, the annual Sun 'n Fun Expo in Florida has been officially postponed due to the coronavirus, with a proposed reschedule date of May 5 - 10.
Zenith Aircraft Company's factory workshops are popular with sport aviation enthusiasts, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in building their own Zenith Aircraft kit plane. Participants get to actually start assembling kit parts under the direction and guidance of factory professionals, and "graduate" from the workshop upon completing construction of their own aircraft rudder tail section for one of Zenith Aircraft Company's popular kit aircraft designs, including the high-wing Zenith CH 750 series or the sleek low-wing Zenith CH 650 cruiser.
The factory workshop makes an excellent getaway for you and your spouse or a friend! Spend a couple of days at the Zenith Aircraft factory and meet with fellow aviation enthusiasts - all while gaining valuable hands-on building skills.
