Hello Business,

Happy Halloween!

We have a very busy thirty-first weekend in Ordinary time. Friday is All Saints Day; a holy day of obligation and Saturday is All Souls’ Day. This weekend is Super Sunday for our Faith Formation groups with lots of activities and we turn our clocks back an hour. Busy!

As we turn back our clocks, we are reminded to turn back our hearts to Him. We turn back to affirm our belief in the most important commandments. We are to love God above all others and love our neighbors as ourselves. A true love for God naturally leads us to loving others. When we love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and strength; we do so in faith and with the knowledge that He is our refuge and our rock.

This seems like an obvious tenant of our faith; in our world it is easy to see how we lose sight of this with the distractions all around us. When we are in love, we understand how to prioritize that relationship without distractions.

Livestream the Mass on Sunday at 11:00am on our Facebook page.

Your support and donations will help keep families in their home, in school and in their jobs.

In September, we delivered to 13 families, 68 people and supported 19 households. Additionally, we helped 51 people with rent and utilities.

Thank you for all you do to support St. Vincent de Paul and and the families we serve and support.

QCD

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate up to $105,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions.

RMD

Required minimum distributions (RMDs) are the minimum amounts you must withdraw from your retirement accounts each year. You generally must start taking withdrawals from your traditional IRA, SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, and retirement plan accounts when you reach age 72.

If you are over 72 years of age you qualify to take annual distributions from your retirement account to make tax free donations to charities of your choice.

Resurrection Church is a qualified public charity 501(c)(3) and can receive your QCD.

We thank you in advance for considering Resurrection Catholic Church and School as recipients of your donations.
