Central American coffee season is finally here! It was a long wait, and a worthy one. The fresh and vibrant new harvest is much anticipated, and we're happy to launch with a new favorite.

Costa Rica El Poeta - The Land of Poets from the area near San Ramon. This region is not only known for its superior coffee. San Ramon, only about an hour from the capital, is known for some pretty big dignitaries, from presidents to poets. There are cigar factories, a vibrant culture that includes a weekly farmers' market, festivals, even wellness spas. 

The aroma has big sweet notes of toasted sugar, it's slightly floral with the scent of orange blossoms, and those fancy glace candied orange slices.


The cup - wow - this is a creamy, fuller bodied coffee than most Costas. The flavor is sweet and delicate, with notes of hot chocolate with marshmallows. 

The finish just ties everything together perfectly. It's lingering with sugarcane and orange notes - and chocolate all the way throughout.
