I am so excited to begin our journey together with a monthly newsletter to keep you updated on the latest Naples market trends, foodie finds, and other areas of interest locals love. 

I remember as a young girl standing in line at the market and picking up the Reader's Digest with my mom. I loved the sections each month, especially "Humor in Uniform" which brought lightness and joy by sharing stories of "Life in these United States" with the readers. By sharing my version of the "Live Your Dream Naples" digest I hope to help you visualize how by working together you too can make your dream a reality. It is my joy to share monthly stories, and insights, and create a vision that will bring you hope and inspire you to wake every day knowing warm tropical breezes are within reach!

My greatest treasures outside of my family are my friends/ customers who add joy and share their gifts with the others in our community.

Dr. Tom and Mollie Raih are incredible blessings to our community. They raised their beautiful 5 sons in Edina Minnesota and have 3 granddaughters and 5 grandsons spanning the globe in Edina, Tampa, Nashville and Sydney, Australia.

Tom and Mollie take full advantage of all Naples has to offer from culinary adventures to walks on the beach in Park Shore and actively participate in their faith community at St. Williams. They adore the warm aqua blue Gulf waters, golfing, shopping at lovely boutiques like Gretchen Scott on 3rd, and entertaining friends. The Artis is their wonderful mecca for entertainment with stimulating lectures and guest authors. The Baker Museum draws them monthly to the open house where they enjoy the varied exhibits.

A Tommie (UST) and a Bennie (CSB), these beautiful Minnesota snowbirds inspire all those blessed to know them always making time for family, friends and serving the church. Naples is their winter home away from the cold and these active adventurers love their Naples piece of paradise!

One of my favorite gems of Naples west of 41 is the gated community of Tarpon Cove. Featuring villas, and condos with attached garages that feel more like a townhome or a carport with storage and access to Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club with boat access to Wiggins Pass Beach this neighborhood is hard to match. Tarpon Cove has been priced below market for what it offers since before I purchased my condo in early 2020. There is no other community like it at this price point west of 41!

A short bike ride to Bluebill Beach and minutes to North Naples best dining and shopping at Mercato, there is nothing but upside to this neighborhood! Starting in the high 400,000's you will love the tree-lined streets, 3 pools, and friendly neighbors who are often outside in beach chairs for happy hour! Located right next to exclusive Kinsdale Golf Club, Kalea Bay, luxury high rises, Vanderbilt Beach sunsets, and the new Ritz Residences, Tarpon Cove's location leaves nothing to be desired. This hands down is the best-kept secret west of 41! A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

I love nothing more than sharing my fav finds with people visiting Naples and am stopped often to ask for recommendations. In this section, I will share places, boutiques, community outreach, service opportunities, and special finds that locals and visitors will equally enjoy.

This month's feature is Chesterdales Home & Garden, "The Finer Consigner". This is a treasure trove of delights to fill your home with unique pieces and features local artists' depictions of quintessential Naples, 50 vendors with antiques, and new and interesting tchotchkes that bring a smile to all who cross the threshold.

My latest finds include my growing collection of antique oyster plates to fill a museum wall in one of my beach homes.

Perhaps my favorite find from Chesterdales is a life preserver that hangs above my small guest room "Quincy" bed (Ethan Allen, I have this bed in 3 colors) with "High Tea" & "Normandy Beach" painted on it. 

A little backstory on why this is the perfect find to complete my guest room. High tea is close to my heart as it was my version of after school snack that included table topics to encourage conversation and manners with my four children. Afternoon High Tea also inspired the first "Mommy and Me, Tea at Two" service group my girlfriends and I started with our toddlers serving monthly birthday teas to the Sisters of Mercy retirement home over 23 years ago. My sweet friend "Miss Jackie" still serves the sisters today! Sharing our lives with those that served others before self set in motion a lifelong path with my children of working with our seasoned friends. The great examples and wisdom gained from these encounters have been the blessings and highlights of each week.

Now for the Normandy Beach on the life preserver. Normandy is where our Great Grandpa Eddie who served in the Army in WWII landed on D-day. You can see why Chesterdales is a special place to find things that make your house a home.

The Chesterdales' ladies that run the shop are sunshine when you walk in the door and the music streaming from "Kat Edmonson Radio" on Pandora if you were wondering completes the experience and now fills my home in the evenings with jazz that calms the soul.

This is a must-stop even right from the airport every time you visit Naples! Enjoy!
