Please join the Center for Supportive Schools (CSS) on Wednesday, March 4th from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon ET for a virtual workshop that will showcase When Students Lead (WSL), a leadership program that gives middle and high school students the opportunity to elevate youth voice and engagement on issues important to them.

This workshop will highlight best practices from our evidence-based peer leadership initiative. Participants will have an opportunity to see how a peer leadership initiative for your middle and high school students can not only elevate student voice but also create a sense of belonging and shape a positive school culture.

WSL is a year-long, in-school program for middle and high schools. Participating students receive evidence-based leadership training to help them become effective advocates for causes they are passionate about and to inspire their peers to advocate for change within their school communities.
