TODAY is
Beaujolais Nouveau Day!
Hello!

Please join us today, Thursday, November 19th starting at 4pm to ring in this year's Beaujolais Nouveau arrival, with a special featured list of Beaujolais by the glass, half glass, and bottle.

Each year, on the 3rd Thursday of November, at exactly one minute past midnight, thousands of bottles of fruity Beaujolais Nouveau are raced from the villages and towns of France to the rest of the world. French law states that no producer can release their Beaujolais until 12:01 a.m. -- and not a second sooner. Throughout France, they celebrate the arrival of the first wines of the vintage and take a moment to reflect on the year gone by.

Well.. maybe this year, we will just think of the year to come...

Meant to be consumed within a few weeks of being crafted, Beaujolais Nouveau is a light, fruity, refreshing wine. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks for only a few weeks before being bottled and enjoyed as soon as possible. This is the closest that most of us will come to drinking a cluster of grapes. The Beaujolais Nouveau celebration is fun and casual -- it is not meant to evaluate wine's aging potential or structure, but rather a moment to savor the purest essence of the fruit that gives us the miracle of wine.

These wines are a global transport phenomenon. Imagine the logistics required to get each drop of wine from the barrel, into the bottle, into the crate, onto the ship and down to us here in Houston! It is beyond amazing!

As a reminder, we only receive a small quantity of this wine, when it's gone, it's gone. All bottles sold to-go are 20% off menu price! In addition to the nouveau style, try other famous producers from Beaujolais crus, such as Guy Breton, Marcel Lapierre, and Jean-Paul Thévenet offered on this day only!

Reservations are not required and will only be taken for groups of 6 or more but no more than 10. We continue to operate at a limited occupancy and seating will be offered on a first come first served basis.
