From the teachers who kindle a spark in our scholars to the bus drivers who are the first smiling faces our children see each morning; from the custodians who take pride in our halls to the cafeteria staff, secretaries, social workers, counselors, and administrators who keep our vision moving forward, you are the foundation of everything we do.Our "Defend the Y" culture isn’t just a slogan for our scholars; it is a standard lived out by our staff every single day.
Being a part of Youngstown City Schools requires more than just professional skill. It requires heart, and a strong belief in the promise of each child who walks through our doors.
