Making disciples of all the nations is central to the ministry of Calvary Church. We take the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus very seriously. Calvary Church does not exist for the comfort of its members, but rather to glorify God and to exalt our Savior. One of the ways we do this is not only by reaching our city and state, but also by sending men and women further afield, including overseas.
We are privileged to partner with over 80 missionary families throughout the world. Each year we also send teams from Calvary to partner with our missionaries. We call these “GO Trips” — Global Outreach Trips. I encourage you to participate in one of them. This Sunday at 6:00 PM, we will be privileged to hear the reports from some of these GO Trip participants. You will be encouraged, challenged, and informed. Our Savior says, “Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest” (John 4:35). Towards the conclusion of the service, we will have communion when we remember our Lord Jesus, who continues to transform the lives of those who trust in Him.
