1. What inspires you? List the first five things that come to mind.
Knowledge,
Other’s success, Accomplishments,
Creativity,
Family
2. Who is your role model? How has that person shaped you?
My role model is mankind. There are so many ideas that came from man which changed the world for better or worse. Mankind fosters the dreams and acts on them. That which was not made by nature, was produced, written, built, or destroyed by mankind. You must envy with awe, the ones that keep teaching us how to love through hate, and the best and worst of times. I put all my trust in those that have come before, are here now, and are yet to come and keep the dream of mankind alive and well.
3. Describe one of your favorite clubhouse memories.
My favorite clubhouse memory is when I came to speak to the students. I spoke for about 20 minutes and asked for any questions. After the first question was asked, the flood gates were open, and we had a robust, engaging, and meaningful conversation that has kept me included with Educate Youth ever since. The youth will ask the kinds of questions that you better be ready for, especially when they are about you and how you came to be who and what you are. Not only the successes, but the bumps and bruises you earned and used in your favor, along the way. I appreciate and respect our youth for their wisdom and steadfastness through all the obstacles they have to face in this day and age.
