Welcome, Matt!

Please join us in welcoming Matthew A. Lewis to the Southeast Investors Title team. Matt is joining our team as VP, Southeast Business Development Counsel and is excited to explore commercial and residential opportunities with agents in SC and GA and provide legal and underwriting support.

Matt is a 30-year veteran of the title insurance industry holding multiple positions over the years, including but not limited to claims, underwriting and management. He was most recently with a national underwriter as the South Carolina State Agency Manager and before that, as State Counsel. Matt is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and holds an inactive bar license in Florida. He joined Investors Title in a newly created role as VP, Southeast Business Development Counsel at the beginning of 2026.

Matt lives in the Irmo, South Carolina area with his wife of 28 years, Karen. They have two adult children who reside out of state. Matt has a keen interest in music, both listening and playing, due to being raised by a very musical father. He is an avid follower of West Virginia University athletics as well as University of South Carolina athletics. He is a 1988 graduate of West Virginia University with a B.A. in Political Science, and a 1991 graduate of The Thomas M. Cooley Law School

in Lansing, Michigan.
