Women On The Move: Conversations Across Warren County

Last week, the Women’s Fund of Warren County gathered community members for an energizing evening celebrating Women County Women. This powerful event showcased the voices and journeys of local women making a positive impact.

Our featured speaker, Mayor Diana Nelson of Mason, Ohio, captivated the room with her inspiring story of rising through the ranks in both the business and political arenas. With honesty, humor, and vision, Mayor Nelson spoke on breaking barriers, building influence, and navigating the unique challenges of leadership as a woman.

"Work hard. Do good work. Love what you do. Respect the people you work with. Be a positive role model for the youth. Believe in yourself, and know that you have the power to pave the way for future female leaders. Support other women along the journey."

Joseph Warren Alive

The Joseph Warren Alive Project, supported by the Warren County Foundation, honors Revolutionary War hero Dr. Joseph Warren through art and education.

Yesterday, June 17, 2025, a bronze statue of Dr. Warren—sculpted by Cincinnati artist John Hebenstreit—was unveiled on the lawn of the Harmon Museum in Lebanon. The statue commemorates the 250th anniversary of Warren’s heroic death at the Battle of Bunker Hill and celebrates the namesake of Warren County.

The project also includes educational programs and community events to share Warren’s legacy alongside leaders like Samuel Adams and Paul Revere.

"We have not finished anything today. However, we have started a movement. We will be back."

- Dr. Greg Davis, Chairman of The Joseph Warren Alive Project
