Gail is a neighbor to the ranch, and saw a loose horse wandering her neighborhood (both pictured above). She called the ranch, thinking it might be ours. The horse was injured, lost, and scared! Though it was not our horse, Amy went out to help the horse and got the pleasure of meeting Gail Hunt. The two ladies hit it off, and Gail started volunteering with the Sanctuary. Gail is a serious go-getter, and since beginning volunteering with us, Gail has spent hours ordering, displaying, and selling merchandise to support the Platte Ranch Forever Home Sanctuary. Though she doesn't have a huge horse background, she is getting to know our sanctuary horses, and getting to help them in an incredible way! She has been pivotal in setting up a space for Sanctuary volunteers and activities. We really love having her around and are so happy to call her a member of the PRFHS family!
